DIRECTORS

Cliff Lyons is a Director and major shareholder of Bennelong Energy Services.

Gaven Sheehan, National Sales Director, has over 20 years of account management experience, working with facilities management organisations. He has specifically been aligned with the water industry where he has focused on service, management, and sales.

Steve Freeman has over 30 years of experience in electrical project management, working on a number of large scale electrical fit-out projects for national clients. He has strong retail experience and a thorough understanding of client’s issues and concerns giving him a strong customer service ethic.

As a proud Indigenous sporting figure, Cliff has carved out an amazing career as a former professional rugby league player playing 332 games in the NRL and six test matches for Australia.

One of the most talented players in the NRL, Cliff played most of his rugby league on the Northern Beaches playing for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Cliff was also named in the Indigenous rugby league team of the century.

As one of the BES directors, Cliff and his co-directors have been heavily involved in the nurturing of Indigenous and pacific islander rugby league players, whether it be coaching or mentoring these young players through the ranks.

When sitting down to discuss the formation of Bennelong Energy Services, it became clear that Cliff and the co-directors wanted to go that extra mile and build a career path for young Indigenous men and women. As a group, we wanted to make sure that young Indigenous men and women didn’t lose hope of becoming successful in whichever path they tackled. Gaven Sheehan and Steve Freeman who are currently the directors of Corporate Energy Services which is a successful electrical business that manages contracts Australia wide created BES with the support from Cliff by bringing the same operational and work ethic to Bennelong Energy Services. The support from CES to BES will be essential in making these men and women successful in giving them the mentoring from Cliff, support technically from Steve, and the work opportunities from Gaven. BES envisages a future of proud young Indigenous people who will be proud of their achievements working for Bennelong Energy Electrical Services.
